LGBTQ Childbirth Prep for Families
Come get informed, prepared, and excited to birth your baby in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere specifically designed by and for LGBTQ people!
This four week childbirth preparation course covers the basics of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum for queer families, as well as a wide range of topics relevant to all birthing people, including staying healthy and low risk, comfort measures and mental strategies for labor, choices and planning, getting the best care, birth stories, postpartum, newborn behavior, feeding your baby, and more. You are encouraged to bring a chosen support person with you each class, perhaps a partner, family member, doula or friend. In this class you will deepen your bond with your chosen birth partner and work on strategies that will make you feel like a winning team going into your birth, and you will empower yourself to take the next step in your parenting journey with more confidence and ease.
